ART

My practice involves sound, drawings, installations, paintings and performances; to create art that contains several  expressions at the same time - a Gesamtkunstverk - constantly aiming to unite sound and visuals. 

The ten last years I've been composing for, and producing, larger performances to fulfil that goal. 

My main expression is through voice and this plays a main role in my production. First time I worked on a larger scale than a solitary sound installation was i 2015 when I composed for a choir - Volve Vokal from Bergen, Norway - to perform my compositions as an art performance. This resulted in being my Master (MA) project at the Academy of Fine Art in Bergen in 2015.

In 2022 I was apart of The National Art Exhibition (Høstutstillingen) at Kunstnernes Hus in Oslo with CANTUS MAP - a choir performance containing six female singers, soundart, costumes and movement. 

2023: The following year, on a rear sophomore selection, I was again selected to be part of The National Art Exhibition (Høstutstillingen) at Kunstnernes Hus with GLAUMR - a concert performance for three flutes, three female singers, two violins and sound art.

At the time I´m working on a new Gesamtkunstverk that is set for a premiere in 2027.
